A dilemma so profound
For it's easy to judge than understand
Doubts are conceived through the betreyal we face
That's why we smile and open up less


We question a lot because we've trusted too much
We shatter in silence to its harmony we clutch
For their thorns shredded us
Yet a single voice didn't arouse



You may notice but you won't comprehend
For your glass is distinctly flavored
Till i taste yours and you sip from mine
On different poisons we can't refine



That's why we smile more and we open up less
Even though our lips mumble yet on variant pace
If you're a stranger to the trails of my bane
How would you feel when my soul is in strain
